• Schools: Government, Government-Aided, Private, and International schools can register.
• Participation: Students participate through their schools. Individual registrations are generally not accepted.
• Project Format: Students may participate individually or in teams, depending on the competition guidelines for the selected project category.
• Teacher Mentors: Each participating project should be guided by a teacher or school mentor.

The competition is designed to encourage students to:

• Think creatively and solve real-world problems.
• Design and build innovative working models.
• Apply concepts from Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), AI, Robotics, IoT, Environment, Healthcare, Agriculture, and other disciplines.
• Present their ideas before expert judges at District, State, and National levels.

To register for a competition on NYIL (Nation's Young Innovation League), the process is:

1. Visit the NYIL website and click School Registration.
2. Complete the registration form with your school's details (school name, principal, contact information, email, etc.).
3. Select the number of project modules your school wishes to participate in (typically 1–5).
4. Complete the online payment.
5. After successful registration, you'll receive your School Login ID and Password on your registered email.
6. Log in to the school dashboard within 15 days of registration.
7. Register participating students and submit the details of each innovation project.
8. Students develop their working models and upload the required information (and video, if required) within the competition timeline.
9. Judges evaluate the projects, and shortlisted teams advance to the next level for awards and recognition.

Yes. Every eligible participant in NYIL receives a Participation Certificate, provided they successfully complete the competition requirements as per the guidelines.

In addition to participation certificates, NYIL also provides recognition such as:

• Participation Certificate for all eligible student participants.

Yes. Schools can register multiple students for NYIL competitions.

The registration is designed to be school-based, allowing a school to enroll many participants across different classes and project categories.

Typically, the process is:

1. The school completes a single School Registration.
2. The school receives login credentials for the NYIL portal.
3. Through the school dashboard, the coordinator can register multiple students or teams.
4. Each student/team can submit their project details under the selected subject and category.
5. All registrations and submissions are managed from the school's dashboard.

This enables schools to encourage broad participation from Classes 3–12, with students competing in age-appropriate categories under the guidance of their teachers.

If your school has a limit on the number of projects (based on the registration package selected), the dashboard will display the available project slots and allow the coordinator to manage them easily.

Winners in NYIL (Nation's Young Innovation League) are selected through a structured evaluation process conducted by qualified judges.
